Lake Millerton 4/22/2018
Event #4 on the 2018 Big Valley region trail was held on 4/22/2018 at Lake Millerton. We are now past the mid-point in the season. Check out the points standings to see which teams are at the top of the heap! Even if you haven't started fishing, it's not too late to jump into the season. American Bass offers a Traveler's region. American Bass Traveler's Region allows you to fish and earn points by fishing in two or more regions. Build your own schedule and qualify for one of the exciting American Bass/Ranger Boats Team Classic's!
Each exciting American Bass/Ranger Boats Team Classic awards a new Ranger/Mercury boat package to the winning team. These events are invitation events. Teams earn an invitation by qualifying in one of the many American Bass team regions. The Team Classics feature a $100 basic entry fee with a 100% payback of the entry fee to second place through the 20% of field. Examples; if there are 100 boats in the Team Classic, there would be $10,000 cash awarded to 2nd-20th places. If there are 80 boats in the Team Classic, there would be $8,000 cash awarded to 2nd16th places. First place will receive the Ranger/Mercury boat package no matter the number of boats competing! The $100 entry is required, teams may also choose to enter additional options for a chance to win even more cash! If you have never qualified, you need to make this your year!

The team taking top honors at Millerton was Tim Wells S. of Clovis, CA and Jeff D'Alessandro of Clovis, CA. They had a great day on the water weighing in 5 Bass that weighed 9.42 lbs! Along with their 1st Place trophies they received $715.00 CASH! Congratulations on your victory! Tim is a member of the Advantage Fishing Line, Valley Rod & Gun, McDonald Worms, and Coast to Coast Seal Coating teams.
Coming in 2nd place at Millerton was the team of John Albidrez and Tom Loya. They took second place by bringing 5 Bass to the scales that weighed 9.29lbs. They received $415.00 CASH and a pair of 2nd place plaques! John is a member of the Pro Worms teams. Congrats on the runner-up spot at Millerton!
3rd place at the Millerton tournament was the team of Ray Grammer and George Rosales. They weighed 5 Bass going 8.30lbs! They collected $30.00 CASH for their day of fishing! Nice Going Ray and George!
In 4th place we had John Horton and James Horton. They weighed in 5 Bass for a total weight of 7.79lbs. Great job at Millerton!
Rounding out the top 5 at Millerton was the team of Art Nubaryan and Richard Crow. They're 5 Bass weighing 7.67lbs. earned them this top 5 finish! They received the 5th Place Plaques. Richard is a member of the Cal Coast, Maxima, Ardent Reels, Solar Bats Eyewear, Peregrine 250 Boat Care Products, IROD, Stroker Worms, Hardcore Bass Fishing, Trapper Tackle, Crows Custom Cookies, SnackDaddy Lures, and T&T Tackle teams.
The biggest Bass of the day was weighed in by the team of Tim Wells & Jeff D'Alessandro. Their big fish weighed 2.45 pounds!
This region offers American Bass angler's some of the best fishing in the West! To qualify from any region you need to compete in a minimum of 5 events. Jump in at the next tournament if you missed this event. All of you Traveler's player's should take a look at some of the events in this region, it will be a lot of fun!
